VInification

Breaking Red is a carefully crafted blend of Feteasca Neagră, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, designed to combine the strengths of each variety into a harmonious whole. The grapes are harvested separately at optimal ripeness and vinified individually to preserve their unique characteristics. Following temperature-controlled fermentation and extended maceration, the wines are blended and matured in French oak barrels, where they develop additional complexity, structure and elegance. The result is a refined red blend that balances fruit intensity, richness and finesse.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby-red in colour with vibrant garnet reflections. The nose reveals expressive aromas of black cherry, blackberry and ripe plum, complemented by elegant notes of vanilla, cocoa, sweet spices and subtle toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and well-balanced, combining the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, the softness of Merlot and the distinctive character of Feteasca Neagră. Layers of dark berries, blackcurrant and chocolate unfold gracefully, supported by silky tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is long, smooth and remarkably elegant. Serve at 16–18°C. Pairs beautifully with grilled meats, beef, lamb, roasted vegetables and mature cheeses.
