VInification

Viorica Late Harvest 2019 originates from grapes left on the vine until late autumn, allowing natural dehydration and concentration of sugars, aromas and flavours. The partially raisined berries yielded a small quantity of intensely aromatic must, rich in complexity and character. Careful vinification preserved both the wine's natural sweetness and its vibrant freshness, creating an elegant dessert wine of remarkable depth and persistence.

Tasting notes

Brilliant golden colour with amber reflections. The bouquet is intensely aromatic, revealing notes of acacia honey, dried apricot, candied orange peel, quince paste and orange blossom. On the palate, the wine is rich and concentrated, offering layers of honey, dried fruits, apricot jam and citrus marmalade. Despite its richness, refreshing acidity provides balance and elegance, leading to a long, complex and memorable finish.
